On the 15th of April The Great British Barber Bash took over The Oval Space in London. The best of the best of the best of the best barbers presented fantastic haircuts on stage. Booksy was there, as a proud partner of GBBB. As always!
In a cool industrial style venue in Bethnal Green, London the DJ is dropping old-school hip-hop sounds, as technicians are putting together the final touches on 3 spot lit barber chairs covered in The Great British Barber capes. All is ready for the first three of many world famous and extremely talented barbers to take the stage throughout the day. The Great British Barber bash is about to begin.
The venue is filling up quickly. The show starts when the place is fully packed. Each barber gets a loud roar when introduced, followed by the fast pace and energy of each cut, demo and change to the next group of barber superstars.
The great finale of the entire show is the Barber Battle, kicked off by Ian “The Champ” Hoyos, Booksy Ambassador and owner of Champs Barbers. A real spectacle, with over twenty barbers taking the stage to battle it out for the prize money. It was loud, it was competitive and it was wild. It was a fast fade competition and all entrants had a full 20 minutes to create their look. The winner took all the money in the hat and, of course, the bragging rights and trophy!
Booksy people were also present at the event, as you can see in the pictures. Not only our team was there - tons of our Ambassadors and users could also be spotted across the venue. Booksy has been a partner of The Great British Barber Bash for years and together we keep on delivering you amazing events.
