How (and when) did you get into barbering?

I started barbering when I left school at 16 after working in a barbers for two years previously as a Saturday boy.

Some people say that being a barber is not a profession or a hobby, it's a lifestyle. Do you agree?

Yes definitely, the relationship between barbers and clients is very unique. And that’s what I like the most about being a barber – the social side of barbering. I truly believe that a good rapport with clients is a key part of this profession.

Who has influenced you the most in your career? Do you have an idol?

Schorem barbers are a big influence for me, traditional cuts with a modern twist.
