How to Get Perfectly Accurate Bookings in Two Steps

You want to have perfectly accurate bookings, but it can be difficult to get clients to book the correct appointments (even if you're the one documenting them). So here are a few steps to save you time, save clients from confusion, and get the perfect results for everyone.

Create the perfect custom appointment

For complex/customized services (e.g. any kind of chemical process), get all of the details from the clients in advance and then tailor the appointment to their specifications. Booksy lets you modify service length, cost, processing time, padding time, etc. for each service, so you can take into account all of their needs and specifications. Plus, you can add photos and notes about the client/service so you know exactly what you need to recreate the appointment. After you've perfected it (there may be some trial and error here), that appointment is saved in their history so you never have to wonder again what is best for this client.

Recreate the customized booking- automatically

Yes, automatically! You've got the perfectly customized service for your client, all it takes is the click of a button to recreate this EXACT booking for your client. Better yet, there are three ways to do this:

1. Business, Book Again: There may be some clients who don't want to use a booking app, or you don't trust to book for themselves. No worries! You as the service provider can go to the client's profile in your client database, check out their booking history, and click the "Book Again" button for the service you want to repeat.
2. Business, Recurring: For loyal, regular clients, you can also set reservations to occur on a daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly basis (or on a special customized schedule). To book a recurring appointment, just click on the original booking, then select "Repeat Service".
3. Clients, Book Again: The most convenient option is just letting clients book themselves. Now with the new client app, clients can do this through their booking history the same way you can! No wondering how to properly book; no need to call the shop to get a customized appointment. We recommend showing the clients where to find their original booking, then click on the "Book Again" button to show them how easy it is.
