And I’m not just saying that because I had the most epic time at Premiere San Antonio 2024 with the Booksy crew, though that definitely helped solidify my love for this app! Seriously, whether you’re a nail tech, barber, or beauty professional, Booksy is an absolute game-changer.
If you were there, you know what I’m talking about. The energy was electric from the second we walked in. Thousands of beauty professionals from all walks of life, all buzzing about the latest trends, products, and innovations. As soon as the doors opened, it was clear that Premiere San Antonio wasn’t just an event – it was THE place to be if you wanted to level up your beauty business. The exhibitors brought their A-game, showcasing the best tools and products that are shaping the future of our industry. It was an incredible space to learn, connect, and be inspired.
And let’s talk about the Booksy booth, where the real magic happened. From the moment you walked up, you could feel the vibe – Booksy just gets us. You know what I mean? It’s one of those brands that speaks our language, and you could see that in every interaction at the booth. I was lucky enough to meet so many amazing beauty pros and fans during the meet and greet. Honestly, it felt like a family reunion with brand ambassadors who just radiated passion for what we do.
Of course, Hirsch Hunty was there, being the absolute legend that he is – hyping up the booth and giving us all life. Fellow Premiere educator Michelle Soto also came by for a meet n greet and took some great selfies with her fans. And let me give a shoutout to Jimena Nails too, who was showing off her insane skills and inspiring everyone around her with her one of a kind style. It was amazing to be surrounded by such talent and dedication. This is what makes Booksy so special – they bring together the best of the best, and they empower us to grow our businesses in ways we couldn’t imagine before.

Now, you know I couldn’t leave without sharing some serious knowledge. I hosted my session, “Grow Your Bookings with Social Content,” and let me tell you, I was blown away by how many of you were eager to learn how to boost your online presence. Social media is one of the most powerful tools we have to grow our clientele, and with Booksy, it's even easier to leverage. I mean, why wouldn’t you want to make booking an appointment as simple as a click on your Insta bio? It was awesome getting to share strategies to help you all take your social game to the next level and really make your brand stand out. And let’s not forget the Social Post Creator tool right within the Booksy app to make running your socials seamless.
But I wasn’t the only one sharing tips and tricks – Chelly’s Nails absolutely crushed it with her session, “Level Up Your Service Offerings with Trendy Nail Art.” She walked everyone through how to stay on top of the latest nail trends, gave a live nail art demo, and talked about the importance of giving your clients the experience they can’t find anywhere else. The crowd was eating it up, and it was clear that these are the kinds of skills that make a difference in staying ahead in our industry and getting paid your worth.
Of course, it wasn’t all work and no play – the Booksy crew knows how to have fun! We hit the famous San Antonio RiverWalk after the expo, and it was such a blast to kick back with the team. The energy from the day carried over into the night – the laughs, the stories, the connection. It really felt like we were all part of something bigger, like Booksy is this community that not only supports our businesses but makes being part of the beauty world even more fun and rewarding. I also had to hit the San Antonio RiverWalk shops and found a new pair of hot pink cowboy boots. Couldn’t be better!
Lastly, I can't forget to mention Nailympia. Booksy proudly sponsored the event, with me, Chelly, and Hirsch serving as competition judges, showcasing Booksy's ongoing commitment to fostering community and advancing the art of manicures. It’s the pinnacle of nail competitions, where the talent is just unreal. The skills, creativity, and hustle from every competitor were next-level. Events like this remind us why we love this industry – it’s all about pushing boundaries and never settling for less than greatness. There were 47 competitors from countries across the globe: USA, Argentina, Portugal, Germany and Poland. How cool is that?!
